The Immunization Partnership was a sponsor of the University of St. Thomas's Health Awareness Week event (January 31st-February 2nd, 2011). UST students were able to receive free vaccines against vaccine-preventable diseases like Meningitis, Flu and Pertussis (also known as Whooping Cough) with the help of the Christus Mobile Van Unit. Students were also educated on the diseases and the importance and benefits of immunization.
