When it comes to maintaining high vaccination rates, providers are key.

Perhaps nowhere is that more important than in the area of vaccinations. Whether you’re a doctor, physician assistant, nurse or medical assistant, your recommendation matters. That is true of patients as well as policymakers. 

Since non-medical exemptions to school vaccine requirements were first allowed in 2003, the number of parents opting their children out of school-required vaccines has increased 19 fold. While the vast majority of families still choose to vaccinate on time and according to the recommended schedule, some are electing to delay or forgo vaccines altogether. As a provider, you can help combat misinformed fears and shape science-based immunization policies to protect the health and safety of our schools and communities.

The Immunization Partnership works with a wide range of partners to offer educational events throughout Texas, including webinars, expert panels and a biennial statewide summit. Throughout the year, TIP also hosts fund-raising and donor-appreciation events.
