LaTasha joined The Immunization Partnership team in April 2010 as Project Coordinator, and works to increase immunization education and awareness in Houston communities.
After gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Spanish and Communications, LaTasha moved to Chicago and began working in Maternal and Child Health with the Chicago Area Immunization Campaign. She became passionate about helping families and individuals by educating on the importance of prevention in Chicago’s underserved communities and was charged with implementing an Adult Immunization Workgroup, working closely with the Chicago Department of Public Health on several media and community outreach efforts.
After returning to Houston in 2007, she worked as a Recruiter before finding The Immunization Partnership and continuing her work in community outreach.
