TIP, with support from Texas Children's Hospital, is interviewing registry managers across the nation to talk about software-vendor relations. We are hoping to collect advice or stories of experiences with vendors that will be of help to registries.
If you are a registry manager, and have been contacted by TIP, please schedule a time when we can call you for a one-time interview.
Thank you!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What kind of information is being collected?
A. We are looking for general information and specific anecdotes that help to understand your experience with vendors. Any advice that would help other registries would be greatly appreciated.
Q. Who will see this information?
A. The final report of the interviews will be written for registry managers. Other registry participants, such as software vendors, may eventually see the same report.
Q. Will my registry be identified in the final report?
A. All answers will be paraphrased and reported in such a way that your registry can not be easily identified. Names and other particulars will be omitted.
Q. How much time will this take?
A. There are only 11 questions, and it should take less than an hour.
Q. How many registries are being asked to participate in this survey?
A. The first phase will include 20 randomly selected immunization registries. If time allows, this may be expanded to include all registries.
Q. Can I review my answers before they are included with the survey?
A. Absolutely. All information collected will be sent to you for your review before the final report is released. You can delete or modify any of your answers.
Q. Will I get a copy of the final report?
A. Yes. All participants will receive a copy of the final report first.
Q. Why is TIP conducting this survey?
A. One of the missions of TIP is to encourage the use of registries. TIP believes that successful software projects lead to better registries and so wants to help registries improve vendor relationships.
Q. Who does TIP represent?
A. TIP represents the non-profit partnership in its mission to "eradicate
vaccine-preventable diseases by developing and coordinating our
community's resources through public and private partnerships."
