CDC provides comprehensive novel H1N1 influenza information
and resources for patients and professionals including recent
nationwide influenza activity, priority groups for H1N1 vaccine
administration and information on anti-virals.
AAP,
in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), created the Childhood Immunization Support Program to improve
the nation's immunization delivery system by developing an
infrastructure within AAP to support its members and provide education
on immunization-related issues.
Established
by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) to protect
infants, children and adolescents from influenza by communicating with
"one strong voice" the need to make influenza immunization a national
health priority. CIIC seeks to address and improve the low influenza
immunization rates among children.
The
American Lung Association's Flu Clinic Locator allows visitors to enter
their zip code to locate a flu clinic in their area. The Flu Clinic
Locator re-launches each fall with the most up-to-date clinic
information for the upcoming season.
Google Maps
allows visitors to enter their zip code to locate a flu clinic (in
commercial pharmacies) in their area.
The
U.S. Department of Health and Humans Services is the U.S. government's
principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and
providing essential human services, especially for those who are least
able to help themselves. The Department includes more than 300 programs
and provides comprehensive information about diseases and conditions
such as influenza.

Texas Department of State Health Service’s site for H1N1 and
seasonal influenza information in Texas. Included is the Novel H1N1
Vaccine Ordering and Reporting System (VORS) Training, and provider
portal to order the Novel H1N1 Vaccine Ordering.

ImmTrac
is the Texas immunization registry developed by the Texas Department of
State Health Services (DSHS). ImmTrac is a free, confidential registry
designed to consolidate immunization records from multiple providers
and store a child’s immunization information electronically
in one secure central system. ImmTrac offers physicians and other
healthcare providers and authorized user’s easy online access
to a child’s immunization history. The Registry is part of a
DSHS initiative to increase vaccination coverage for children across
Texas.
