Legislative Days 2017

Austin, TX

May 17, 2017 at Texas State Capitol, 1100 Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701

Immunization stakeholders from across the state will join The Immunization Partnership for the several Legislative Days at the Capitol in 2017.

Stakeholders will educate lawmakers about immunizations and the impact they have on the health of all Texans. As immunization stakeholders, these individuals play an important role in the legislative process by keeping legislators informed and prepared to act on key issues.

We'd love to have you join us! Registration is required, so sign up today!

If you're unable to make it to the capitol, supporters can also provide "virtual" support by calling, e-mailing, tweeting, or Facebooking their legislators to ask them to support science-based policies to protect our communities from vaccine preventable diseases!

Some of the legislative priorities we will discuss include: addressing non-medical exemptions to school vaccine requirements and making rates more transparent, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the statewide immunization registry, and combatting HPV-related cancers.
