Mr. Cordola graduated from the University of Texas
at Austin with Special Honors in Psychology. Upon completion of his
work at the University of Texas, he earned his Master of Healthcare
Administration and Master of Business Administration from the
University of Houston &#8211; Clear Lake in 1998.
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Throughout his graduate program, he worked in the
healthcare arena. He served as the Operations Manager for Avanti
Health Systems, a primary care medical group throughout Houston. Later he joined Physicians Trust, Inc., a musculoskeletal practice
management company based in Houston where he worked as the Manager of
Development Administration and led the acquisitions of several
physician practices throughout the country. In July of 1998, he
joined Texas Children&#8217;s Pediatric Associates, an affiliate of Texas
Children&#8217;s Hospital. In his capacity of Director, Regional
Operations he was responsible for the operations of numerous
pediatric practices throughout the greater Houston area and led many
community initiatives for the organization. In December 2003, Mr.
Cordola joined Children&#8217;s Memorial Hermann Hospital as the
Assistant Vice President of Operations as was appointed as Chief
Executive Officer in 2006.
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Mr.
Cordola is a Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives and is
actively involved in the local chapter of the ACHE, including serving
on the Board of Directors. He is an adjunct faculty for the
University of Houston Clear Lake Healthcare Administration program
and serves on the Alumni Board for the school. In addition, he
serves on other local not-for-profit boards including the Ronald
McDonald House Advisory Board, UT Fleming School of Management, the
Houston Area Immunization Partnership and the Together for Kids
Organization.
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
His
most important role is that of husband to his wife Allison and father
to his son Benjamin (7) and daughter Emma (5 &amp;#189; years). When not
working, he is an outdoors enthusiast, enjoys photography, cycling
and is a private pilot.
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
