Update from Texas Department of State Health Services

Effective March 5, 2009, the Texas Department of State Health Services requires the following vaccines for entry into 7th grade for the 2009 – 2010 school year:

  • One dose of Meningococcal vaccine
  • One dose of Tdap vaccine (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis)
  • A second dose of Varicella vaccine
